Project Details:

Turkish Electricity Distribution Company Inc. (TEDAS) along with its solution partner CYBERSOFT, have undertaken important charges in energy distribution sector by launching an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Main objective of this project was setting up a web-based information management system on a multi-layer central structure in order to plan and monitor the enterprise resources effectively and to obtain cost efficiency in energy distribution sector.
 
ERP systems cover functional organization of background segments of medium and large sized commercial enterprises, such as Order Management, Financial Accountancy, Stock Control, Storage and Distribution, Assets Management and Human Resources; and foreground segments such as Sales and Marketing Automation, Electronic Commerce and Supply Systems.
 
ERP system developed for TEDAS includes management systems for General Accounts, Fixed Assets, Materials Management and Human Resources (with Payroll module) applications. These systems are used by Electricity Distribution Foundation and subsidiaries of TEDAS, and have been integrated with another software system of TEDAS, ABONE.NET.
 

Within the scope of this project, trainings were provided by CYBERSOFT for the institutions technical personnel on:

 

  • UML Modeling, Java, Aurora Platform, RDBMS/SQL (technical trainings)
  • DMS user trainings

 
Outcomes & Benefits: Upon the delivery of the Project, TEDAS have obtained important financial benefits and increase in productivity via:

  • a discernable boost in business processes;
  • an information management system,
    • receiving the information in a detailed, reliable and fast way
    • on different domains,
    • running in integration with external systems;
  • an effective enterprise resource planning;
  • timely and accurate decision-making support.
